Biography
I spent a career in the military, drawing myself around the world. Wherever I went, caricatures went with me. I also did a lot of caricature work with niche groups like bikers, truckers, and other people who spent their lives on the road.
These days, I’m retired from everything but drawing and writing, and having fun with my family and friends! I do most of my drawing “on the go” where I find real life happening.
A lot of our caricature drawings are connected to stories. Everyone has a story. We tend to use caricature to illustrate their stories. We’ve been called a “story teller” as much (or more) than we’ve been called a caricature artist. They just seem to go together for us.
Mostly, I work in the Carolinas and Georgia. And yes! I love to see other caricature artists at work. It’s always great to see how differently we all see the world and what we most notice in other people.
